Ur], this album was released by
Ripple Recordings consists of a single track of 25 minutes of pure electro-expression.
M-Type Alpha shows sounds pretty hidden, almost in the background, characterized by a stratification that involves the use of a large number of effects, underlying it all is a black fluid which flows steadily, the driving force that leads from the first minutes the disc in its development. In this motion progression of this component is found to decrease more and more, only to be supplanted by those effects typically impression noise / concrete that were beginning to fill and that but now have become active players.
In the second part of this collaboration would imply a change in tone, focusing on the succession of disconnected noise / vibration / defects / hum / quantoaltro, almost a rummage blindly between objects of indefinite shape and substance. The size and composition is excellent in case the sequence of distortion is never banal, repetitive, annoying. The different sounds never seem to leave to chance, nor even are out of place, and this helps to make much more elegant the whole work [the "authenticity" of I think the proposal is crucial, as a benefit of experience is nothing if it is based on compounds corny].
Even the atmosphere of the album is well made: the continuous interweaving of the various effects leading to the emergence of a pattern that ubiquitous sound, aided by the presence of layers of sound in the background, is particularly diverse in structure and listenable. In short: Electronics classy.
